Co-Curricular activities are a vital part of school life and are intended to develop ethical values, creativity, meditation and personality of the students for a better physical and mental health. D.A.V. goes all out to polish the various talents in its students.
Opportunities are given to discover the hidden talents and skills which surface perhaps surprising the students themselves.
A wide range of activities are available such as art, craft, sloka, origami, music, debates, dumb charades, just a minute, oratorical, music, dance and storytelling. Theatre and Reap Benefit classes are handled by external experts in the field. Life skills such as M S Office is also offered to them.
Sports activities such as table tennis, chess, carrom, badminton, basketball, cricket, yoga, fitness and aerobics to equip themselves for better prospects and better mental strength and decision-making skills by letting them choose what they wish to learn.
These activities are carried out systematically through-out the year. In this fast-paced world the students are encouraged to participate in inter-house, interschool competitions to develop an attitude of healthy competition, communications skills and team spirit.
