The aim of emergency planning is to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Every year , a mock fire and evacuation drill is carried out for the staff and students of classes I to XII . This is to create an awareness among the students and staff  about safety during a fire disaster and how to respond swiftly in times of such an eventuality. 

In addition to this , firemen from Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue services, visit the school regularly to sensitize the students about the fire safety, use of firefighting gadgets and measures to be adopted during fire accidents.
